Unlocking Co-op
Co-op multiplayer unlocks after completing Chapter 1 of the main story. This takes approximately 2-3 hours for new players. Once unlocked, the co-op menu becomes available from the main menu, allowing you to create or join parties for various multiplayer content.
Co-op Modes
Story Co-op: Replay story missions with friends for better rewards. Material Dungeons Co-op: Farm upgrade materials with increased drop rates. Boss Raids: Team up against gigantic monsters and world bosses. Free Exploration: Explore the open world together (up to 4 players). Special Events: Limited-time co-op events with exclusive rewards.
Creating a Party
Select 'Create Room' from co-op menu. Choose mission type and difficulty. Set room to Public (anyone can join) or Private (invite friends only). Wait for players to join (2-4 players depending on content). Once ready, party leader starts the mission. Private rooms require sharing room code with friends via Discord or in-game chat.
Joining Public Rooms
Browse available public rooms filtered by: Mission type, Difficulty level, Power level requirement. Join rooms matching your power level for smooth runs. Respect recommended power levels - joining under-leveled burdens your team. Quick Match automatically finds suitable rooms for you.
Team Composition
Ideal 4-player team: 2 DPS (damage dealers), 1 Support (buffs/debuffs), 1 Healer (sustain). Check what role your teammates pick and fill gaps. Don't join with 4 DPS - you'll struggle on harder content. Communication helps: Use quick chat messages to coordinate, Discuss strategy before starting, Indicate your role when joining.
Co-op Etiquette
DO: Meet power level requirements, Use appropriate team composition, Revive fallen teammates, Share collected items fairly, Thank teammates after successful runs. DON'T: Join while under-leveled, AFK during missions, Rush ahead alone and die, Ignore team strategy, Leave mid-mission (penalties apply).
Increased Rewards
Co-op missions provide better rewards than solo: Material drop rate increased by 30-50%, Bonus gold and exp, Higher chance for rare drops, Exclusive co-op achievement rewards. Hard and Extreme difficulties only accessible in co-op. Best efficiency: Farm material dungeons in co-op groups.
Friend System
Add players as friends after good co-op runs. Benefits: Easier to form private parties, Friend bonus rewards, Send/receive daily gifts (stamina, gold), See friend character development. Build a regular co-op group for consistent farming sessions. Join the official Discord to find dedicated co-op partners.
Difficulty Scaling
Normal: Balanced for solo or casual co-op, standard rewards. Hard: Recommended for 3-4 player co-op, double material drops. Extreme: Requires coordinated 4-player team with meta characters, triple rewards. Difficulty affects: Enemy HP and damage, Required power level, Reward quality and quantity. Always start with Normal to learn patterns before attempting higher difficulties.
When Co-op Goes Wrong
If your team wipes: Review what went wrong (composition? execution?), Suggest strategy changes if team is willing to retry, Know when to disband and find new group (after 3 fails). If you encounter toxic players: Use report function for harassment, Block and avoid future matching, Join communities with positive reputation. Don't let bad experiences discourage co-op - most players are helpful.
