What is Rerolling?
Rerolling means creating a new account repeatedly to get better starting characters from your initial free summons. In 7DS Origin, you get approximately 20-30 pulls worth of tickets from pre-registration, tutorial completion, and early missions.
Is Rerolling Worth It?
Yes, but not mandatory. Getting one top-tier 5-star character significantly improves your early game experience and saves resources long-term. However, the game is generous with tickets over time, so you'll eventually get strong characters even without rerolling.
Reroll Process
The reroll process takes 15-20 minutes per attempt: 1) Create new account or guest account, 2) Complete tutorial (10 minutes), 3) Claim pre-registration rewards from mailbox, 4) Complete first story chapter for bonus tickets, 5) Use all tickets on beginner banner, 6) Check results. If unsatisfied, restart with new account.
Best Reroll Targets - S-Tier
MELIODAS: The captain of the Seven Deadly Sins is the single best reroll target. His demon form provides massive damage, and Full Counter ability reflects attacks. Versatile in all content types. ESCANOR: During daytime, becomes the strongest DPS in the game. His Cruel Sun and Pride Flare abilities demolish bosses. Slight weakness at night. TRISTAN: The main protagonist has both demon and goddess powers, making him incredibly versatile. Can DPS, heal, and support. Excellent solo player choice.
Best Reroll Targets - A-Tier
MERLIN: Best support character with Infinity ability extending buff durations indefinitely. Essential for end-game but requires team building knowledge. ELIZABETH: Strongest healer makes difficult content much easier. Great for players who prefer safer, more defensive gameplay. TIOREH + Any 5-Star: Since Tioreh is guaranteed, getting any additional 5-star DPS creates a solid two-character core.
Reroll Goal
Ideal reroll: Tioreh (guaranteed) + Meliodas or Escanor. Good reroll: Tioreh + any two other 5-stars. Acceptable reroll: Tioreh + Tristan or Merlin. If you pull multiple 4-stars with good synergy, that's also worth keeping to save time.
When to Stop Rerolling
Stop rerolling when you get: 1) One top S-tier DPS (Meliodas/Escanor/Tristan), OR 2) Two A-tier characters with good role diversity, OR 3) You're tired of rerolling and have at least Tioreh + one 5-star. Remember, enjoying the game is more important than perfect starts.
Platform Differences
Mobile (iOS/Android): Easiest to reroll - just create new guest accounts. PC/Steam: Requires new Steam accounts or family sharing. PS5: Most difficult - requires new PSN accounts. If on console, rerolling may not be worth the effort.
After Getting Good Pulls
Once satisfied with your starting roster: Link your account to email/social media (prevents loss), Focus all resources on your best DPS character first, Keep your guaranteed Tioreh as secondary DPS, Save remaining tickets for future limited banners.
Alternative to Rerolling
If you don't want to reroll, the game is still very playable. Tioreh alone is strong enough for all early content. You'll accumulate enough tickets within the first week to get additional 5-star characters naturally. Many players recommend just enjoying the story without reroll stress.
